Woodlawn Plantation

Built in 1828, Woodlawn Plantation sits on a hill overlooking fields that were once filled with slaves. During the American Civil War, it was used by Union General Tecumseh Sherman as his West Tennessee Headquarters. It was also used by both armies as a hospital. We were invited by the Historical Society to remove 4 honeybee colonies from here in 2016. Two were in the columns.
