Honeybee in Flight - Still Photo

It's a little difficult to see, but honeybees have four wings. Unlike dragonflies, another of my favorite insects, honeybee the pairs hook together while in flight. The hindwings are smaller and have tiny hooks, which latch onto the trailing edge of the forewings. As the wings flap, they form a figure 8 movement that gives the honeybee flight.
